Participants in the eScrip program first register their credit cards, ATM cards, debit cards and/or grocery loyalty cards with Electronic Scrip, Inc. Then, when participants use their registered cards at eScrip merchants, donations from the merchants are made to our organization. For example, if you spend up to $200 at Andronico's Market or Piazza's Fine Foods in any given month, they will donate 3% of the amount of your purchases to HAND of the Peninsula. If you spend $200-$400, they will contribute 4% to our organization. If you spend over $400, the contribution will be 5% of your purchase amount. The donations to HAND are made electronically by eScrip merchants.

There is no fee for individuals to register with the eScrip program. All personal information is safeguarded. Electronic Scrip, Inc. will not disclose or sell any personal information to third parties that are not involved with the program.

When registering for the program, you must specify the Group ID for HAND of the Peninsula. Our eScrip Group ID is 141808774. If you do not specify our Group ID, contributions from the eScrip merchants where you shop will not be made to our organization! Registration may be accomplished in one of three ways:

• By submitting a registration form which may be obtained from the HAND of the Peninsula office. Please call (650) 367-6993 or contact info@HANDsupport.org to obtain the registration form.
• By submitting a secure registration form online.
• By calling Electronic Scrip, Inc. directly at (800) 592-0942.

Some merchants require use of their particular credit card or loyalty card. Additional merchants are becoming affiliated with the eScrip program every day.
